Vattenfall and Royal Vopak Advance a 150 MW Battery Storage Project

On 21 October, a report on the Vattenfall–Royal Vopak arrangement described access to 100 MW/400 MWh of planned battery-storage capacity near Meeden in Groningen, within a system designed for 150 MW and four-hour storage. The agreement’s financial value was not disclosed, so no confirmed contract price can be quoted.
