GUPCO and SLB Sign Agreement for a 1,035-Square-Kilometre Seismic Survey

On 26 October, Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company signed an agreement with SLB to conduct an Ocean Bottom Node seismic survey across 1,035 square kilometres of its central and southern Gulf of Suez concessions. The survey is scheduled to begin in November and will provide advanced geological data to support exploration planning and petroleum production; the contract value was not disclosed.
