MOL Receives US Licence for Preparatory Steps in Serbian NIS Acquisition

On 5 November, Hungary’s MOL announced that it had received an additional US OFAC licence for preparatory transactions linked to its potential acquisition of Russian-owned interests in Serbia’s NIS. The licence runs until 28 February 2027 but does not authorise completion of the acquisition; no transaction price was disclosed in the announcement.
